Ezell-Harding is hosting an area wide worship service Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. on the Ezell-Harding Christian School Campus.

Dr. Steve Flatt, past President of Ezell-Harding Christian School and Lipscomb University, will be the guest speaker.  Everyone is welcome!!

A Great Week of Fun!!

The elementary chorus did an amazing job this past Friday at the football game singing the National Anthem!!! Thank you to Mr. Rice and for his hard work!

I would like to thank everyone for coming to the Family Movie Night.  We had around 80 people sitting back relaxing, eating popcorn and drinking kool-aid while watching the Lion King.  The students loved the movie and everyone had a great time.

This week is Homecoming Week and the kids have looked great!  

Tomorrow is crazy RED AND WHITE DAY!!!

There will be pictures hopefully by tomorrow with all three days of dress up!!

The chapel speaker today was our very own Mr. Freudenthal, who teaches P.E. in the elementary.  He spoke about words matter.  He used an illustration of toothpaste, when you squeeze it out you can't put it back in the tube.  When you say mean things, you can't take them back.  He did a wonderful job!!

Wonderful Week

I would like to thank everyone for your support of our parent teacher conferences and if you have not done so please contact your teacher.  There are many exciting things happening at EHCS, so tell your friends what they are missing. 

We would like to thank Mr. Batey for coming to speak to us today and all of our area ministers for coming to elementary chapel.  It was a wonderful lesson!!

Movie Night this Saturday, Sept. 28 @ 7:00 on the H.S. baseball field.  

Popcorn and Kool-Aid will be provided!!  The movie showing will be "The Lion King".  

Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy some fun and fellowship with each other!!

Next week is HOMECOMING WEEK!!

Elementary's Exciting News

We are having a great year!!  There are some exciting things happening in the elementary.  See below the Growing a Culture of Giving.  We are looking forward to an exciting time next Sat. with our Family Movie Night.  Everyone is invited and it will be fun for all.  So bring your blankets and we will sit on the baseball field and enjoy the movie "Lion King" and have fun and fellowship together.

Thank you for coming to Open House.  It is always great to see all of the support of our parents.  There were so many excited students wanting to show off our school and show their work in the classroom.  It is great to see the students excited and it is very contagious to everyone.  I tried to talk to everyone I saw, if I missed you I am sorry! We had a great number that came and several of the teachers commented that everyone came from their class.

Each week we share a Bible verse and we read it each day during morning announcements and on Friday we say it as a school together.  These are the verses we have read so far Prov. 22:6, John 3:16, Jer. 29:11, Phil. 4:13, Gen. 1:1 and this week Prov. 3:5.

We are looking forward to having a FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT on Sept. 28.  The time and details are still being worked out.  There will be more information later.

News from the Nest

We had a great turn out for our first home football game.  The students enjoyed trying to find Mr. Riley.  Our mini cheerleaders did an outstanding job cheering on the EAGLES!!! The school year is off to a great start and it is hard to believe we are a month into school.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 10th, 5:00-7:00 for our Open House.  We would love to see each one of you.  I know that your children will be excited to show you around the elementary school.

Great Job for the first month for Box Tops!!  We raised 2,642.  Keep cutting those Box Tops!!

We have a few reminders:
Please join us for praise chapel on Monday's and chapel on Thursday's. It is always a wonderful time of worship with each other.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Sept. 19th and 20th.  Student's will be dismissed at 11:00 on those days. Conferences will be scheduled by your teacher and will begin at noon on those days.

Birthday Books for the Library will be due on Sept. 20th.  See Mrs. Bebout or Mrs. Burton for details!

Class Pictures and Make-Up Date for Individual pictures who missed this week will be on Sept. 26th.
