Reminders

Just  a few reminders for the upcoming week.

You should have received information about our first service project.  We are gathering new and gently used coats, blankets, pillows, towels, school uniforms (khaki pants or shorts and solid colored collared shirts), shoes, socks, gloves, toiletries, school supplies, toys, books, cleaning supplies.  Since we are a christian school we want to give back or freely give to others in need.  We have talked about this in one of our memory verses this year.  Please help us out as we help Haywood Elementary School.

Fall Break- October 6-10 (No extended care)

Vocabulary Parade- October 17 (more information to come next week)

Homecoming Week!

It has been a very fun week in the elementary as we have been supporting our Eagles during Spirit Week.  The game will be tomorrow night at 7:00 with Homecoming festivities during halftime.  We will be having refreshments for Alumni and will be honoring our 2001 Football State Championship Team.  Tomorrow will be crazy red and white day!

• There will be doughnuts and spirit tattoos for sale in the Eagles Nest tomorrow morning.

• Spirit Trailer will be open in the morning.(new items will be available)

• Parent Teacher Conferences September 25 and September 26.  See classroom teacher for sign-ups.

• Picture Orders are due on September 26th.

• Fall Break will be October 6-10.  No child care will be provided.

Open House Week!

We had a wonderful Open House on Tuesday night.  The students were very excited to show everyone all the places they go throughout the building and all the many things they have learned.  Many rooms had activities for the parents and students and many projects they made to take home.  It was a wonderful night!

Don't forget about the Domino's Grand Opening Night.  Go buy a medium 1-topping pizza for $2.00 and the $2.00 goes back to Ezell-Harding. Offer is good through September 14th.

Next Week will be Homecoming Week and we will participate in some of the dress up days!  Homecoming will be next Friday at halftime of the football game against Mt. Juliet Christian Academy @ 7:00. Come out and support the EAGLES!!!  The dress up days are listed below

Monday- Pajama Day

Tuesday- Regular School Uniform Day

Wednesday- Holi-Day (dress for your favorite holiday)

Thursday- Regular School Uniform Day

Friday- Crazy Red and White Day

Parent Teacher Conferences will be on September 25 and September 26.  See your classroom teachers to sign up.  We would like all parents to meet with your teachers.

Short Week!

I hope everyone had a good Labor Day!  Hopefully you were able to rest up and spend time with your family.  We have just a few reminders this week.

Tomorrow morning there will be Krispy Kreme doughnuts for sale in the Eagle's Nest along with Spirit Tattoo's.  The Spirit Trailer will be open in the morning!!

Logan's Spirit Night Tomorrow 4-11.  Part of the sales go back to EHCS!  You must bring the coupon that was sent out by email earlier this week.

Football Game at EHCS tomorrow at 7:00 vs. DCA

Open House Next Tuesday, September 9 from 5-7.

Parent Teacher Conferences- September 25 and September 26.  Students will come to school for half days and will be dismissed at 11:00.  You will be receiving information from your classroom teacher about conferences.
