Pumpkin Patch

We have had an amazing Reading Week!!  We have had several guests come and read to our classrooms.  The Cat in the Hat stopped by to visit the classes one day this week.  Thank you for taking time out of your day to come read to your child's classroom.  The pumpkin patch looks amazing!  The students worked very hard on there pumpkins decorated as their favorite book character.  They will be judged tomorrow morning by some of our high school teachers. We also had a visit from R. Friend.  She did a wonderful job today telling her stories about her books she has written.  The students were very involved as well as the teachers.  They had a lot of fun!  You may purchase orders thru Tuesday of next week.  You may find the forms in the office or from the Eagle News last week as an attachment.  You may also see pictures below.

Pumpkin Patch Week!!

Starting on Monday, October 26 students may bring in a pumpkin decorated as their favorite book character.  They may bring them in throughout the week and there will be judges on Friday that will select the best pumpkin from each grade level.  See the flyer below for all the information.  Next week is also our Reading Week.  Your teachers should be contacting you by email, blog, etc. to see if you would like to come read to the class.  If you have any questions, please contact your teacher.



Our students are working on Veteran's Day cards as a project that we do every year.  The Veteran's love receiving these letters each year from our entire school PS-12th grade.

November 2nd- No School
November 8th- Open House for Prospective Families (invite your friends and family)
November 23-27- No School (Thanksgiving Break)

Great Day!!

We had a great day with our Vocabulary Parade.  I will post some pictures on the blog today.  We hope to see all of you tomorrow at our Fall Festival.  It is a lot of fun for your family and friends.  Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors and tell them to be part of our family here at EHCS!!

Next week we will be sending out information about our next event in the elementary school.  We will be making our Pumpkin Patch again this year.  I will send out the information next week about this event.  It is a lot of fun for the children.  The week of the pumpkin patch will be October 26-30.  Be looking for information next week!!!
