Thanksgiving is almost here!!

There is not a lot of news this week!  However, I would like to update you on some upcoming events.  First, it is hard to believe that it is almost Thanksgiving.  Second, Christmas will be here before you know it.

Starting next week I will be talking to the students about our next service project.  This service project is one that we do every year around this time.  We will be collecting canned items for New Heights Christian Community Services.  Mrs. Jones's husband, Marc Jones, is the director at New Heights.  We will be collecting items the week of December 1st-5th.  Students will bring the items to their classroom teachers.  The teachers will count the canned items.  Our goal is 1,000 canned items.  If we reach our goal the students will be able to wear jeans and an Ezell-Harding or Christmas shirt for the entire week of December 8-12.  So start saving up those cans!!!

• December 16- 1st and 2nd grade Christmas Play @ 6:30
• December 16-19- Half Days (Exam Week)(dismissal at 11:00)
• December 22-January 5- Christmas Break
• January 9- Report Cards go home
